ARENA
At visualDBSlab we built our own Advanced Research Environment for Neurological Analysis (ARENA).
It is a MATLAB-based platform for performing interactive 3D analysis of deep brain stimulation (DBS) data. ARENA offers a powerful 3D viewport user interface, advanced interaction tools, and modular support for data workflows through plug-in add-ons.
Check out the QuickStart guide.
NeuroPose-Hand
At visualDBSlab we built NeuroPose-Hand, for video-based kinematic analysis of hand motor tasks.
It measures finger tapping and hand movement from video. A recording is loaded or captured from the camera, the task is marked on the timeline, and objective movement measures are computed and exported. Everything runs locally in the browser, so no video and no measurement leaves the machine. NeuroPose-Hand is adapted from VisionMD and is a research tool, not a medical device.
StimVision
At visualDBSlab we built StimVision, for comparing deep brain stimulation programs.
It ranks stimulation programs against an OFF baseline, using the kinematic measures exported by NeuroPose-Hand or VisionMD. Each run produces a per-hand score with heatmaps, ranked-program tables and a clarity summary. StimVision is a research tool, not a medical device.
