I studied Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt and finished my Master studies in translational Neuroscience at Würzburg University with a thesis on Structural Connectivity in STN DBS. I am currently working as a research assistant and simultaneously pursuing the academic german medical doctoral degree. My research interests are applying structural and functional connectivity in movement disorders and more specifically in DBS research.
